   Wondae-ri Birch Forest, an eco-tourism destination near Inje-eup, was created between 1974 and 1995 by planting 690,000 birch trees across 138 hectares. Today, 25 hectares of this area are operated as an experiential forest for children. To visit the forest, you must register at the entrance and proceed on foot. You must walk along a forestry road starting at the entrance's Birch Forest Information Center to reach the birch forest. There are two forestry roads: the Wonjeong Forestry Road, which takes about 80 minutes on foot, and the Wondae Forestry Road, which takes about an hour. Climbing up the trail reveals a dense forest of birch trees over 20 years old. The birch forest, with its white bark stretching toward the sky, exudes an exotic charm. Created to discover and share the ecological, aesthetic, and educational values unique to birch forests, it has established itself as a representative eco-tourism site in Inje-gun. Access is restricted during the forest fire prevention periods in spring (February 1 to May 15) and autumn (November 1 to November 15), which may vary depending on weather and on-site conditions.    Hwaamsa Temple (Goseong)

   Located in Sinpyeong-ri, Hwaamsa Temple was founded by Master Jinpyo in the 5th year of King Hyegong (the 36th ruler of Silla). The temple once possessed a six-panel folding screen calligraphy with an image of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva granted by King Jeongjo, though its whereabouts after Korea's liberation remain unknown. Records indicate there are 15 stupas, including the Juk-amdang Stupa, and 16 portraits, including that of Master Jinpyo.
