   Sochang Experience Hall

   Sochang Experience Hall was established in 2016 by remodeling the site of the former Pyeonghwa Textile Factory, which consisted of a hanok built in 1938 and a dyeing factory. As a space dedicated to preserving and illuminating the value of sochang (natural cotton fabric)—a traditional industry of Ganghwa-gun—it offers an understanding of Ganghwa's textile history starting from hwamunseok (patterned sedge mats) to its final chapter in sochang.    Joyang Bangjik

   조양방직

   Established in 1933 with domestic capital, Joyang Bangjik was Ganghwa's first rayon factory, but fell into abandonment as Ganghwa's textile industry declined over the years. The once-decaying eyesore has been reborn as a massive cafe. Crumbling walls have become stylish art galleries and cinema spaces, long workbenches have transformed into coffee tables, and the space left behind by machines and workers has been filled with antiques sourced from China, Europe, and beyond. British doors with cracked glass panes, round mirrors from old Czech trains, and bungeoppang (fish-shaped pastry) molds that once flipped through chilly winters are naturally placed as if they had always belonged there. Preserving the building's structural frame across a factory site spanning over 990 m² (approx. 300 pyeong), the cafe keeps stories of time alive throughout its space.    Gimpo Jangneung Royal Tomb

   Designated as a Historic Site, Jangneung is the royal tomb of Wonjong, biological father of King Injo (1623–1649), the 16th monarch of Joseon, and his consort, Queen Inheon of the Gu clan. The scale and standard of the tomb reflect the typical style of the mid-Joseon period.
