   Samaksan Mountain

   Rising alongside Uiamho Lake and the Bukhangang River, Samaksan Mountain is one of Chuncheon's representative scenic mountains. It was named Samaksan because it consists of three rugged peaks: Yonghwabong (654m, the main peak), Cheongunbong (546m), and Deungseonbong (632m). Although it is not a tall or grand mountain, it is considered a celebrated mountain due to its graceful scenery and the beautiful view from the summit. Samaksan Mountain features mysterious gorges and waterfalls formed by quartzite joints.
