The East Coast Coastal Road is a driving route along National Route 7 stretching over 500 km, running alongside the deep blue waters of the East Sea. This scenic coastal road passes through beautiful seaside cities along the eastern coast of the Korean Peninsula, starting from Goseong and passing through Sokcho, Yangyang, Gangneung, Donghae, Samcheok, Uljin, and Yeongdeok, all the way to Pohang, Ulsan, and Busan. Among these, Sokcho is a place where your journey begins the moment you enter via the Donghae Expressway.    Yeonggeumjeong

   Located beneath the Sokcho Lighthouse in Dongmyeong-dong, Sokcho-si, Yeonggeumjeong is an area on the seashore covered with large, flat rocks. It is situated close to downtown and boasts outstanding scenery, making it a place where Sokcho residents enjoy relaxing and fishing year-round.    Yeongnangho Lake

   Yeongnangho Lake is a natural lagoon formed by coastal sand dunes. With a circumference of 7.8 km, an area of about 1.2 km², and a depth exceeding 8 meters, it is both wide and deep. Water flowing from Jangcheoncheon Stream connects to the East Sea through a channel beneath Yeongranggyo Bridge.
