The Damyang Metasequoia-lined Road is truly one of Korea's quintessential tree-lined streets, offering an exotic and fantastic landscape. Neatly aligned metasequoia trees unfold like a painting along both sides of the national road.    Juknokwon is a bamboo forest visible immediately on the left after passing the hyanggyo (local Confucian school), which borders Gwanbangjerim Forest and Damyangcheon Stream, the origin of the Yeongsan River. Developed around Seonginsan Mountain by Damyang-gun and opened in May 2003, this dense bamboo forest spans approximately 160,000 square meters.
