   Youngwol Y Park is a complex art space reborn as a regenerated cultural venue from the Sulsaem Museum, which opened in 2014. Created as a multi-art space combining diverse contemporary artworks, several museums, and craft workshops, it is a modern art space brought to life through the spatial planning of sculptor Choi Ok-yeong. Located in the nature of Jucheon-myeon, Yeongwol, Youngwol Y Park features works using Choi Ok-yeong's signature color red, such as Red Bamboo, Red Pavilion, and Jupiter, allowing visitors to feel as though they are strolling through the 'universe,' just as the artist intended.    Yoseonjeong Pavilion & Yoseonam Rock

   Yoseonjeong is a pavilion located in Mureung-ri, Suju-myeon, with a clear stream flowing in front and the carved characters 'Yoseonam' engraved on a large flat rock on the riverbank. During the Unified Silla period—the golden age of Buddhism—Master Cheolgam Doyun and Master Jinghyo established Heungnyeongseonwon Temple at the foot of Mount Sajasan nearby and frequently visited this spot for missionary work, where a small hermitage is said to have stood at the time. It is also deeply connected to Buddhism, as over 1,000 sarira (relics) were reportedly found when Master Jinghyo passed away here. Today, a seated rock-carved Buddha and a small stone pagoda remain around the pavilion.    Yeongwol Seopdari Village

   Panun-ri in Jucheon-myeon, Yeongwol-gun is famous for its clear waters and riverside scenery in summer, but during winter, temporary bridges called seopdari are installed to offer another unique spectacle. A seopdari refers to a temporary bridge made of logs, pine branches, and mud. It is built at the beginning of winter when water levels drop to allow villagers living across the river to commute, and it remains in use until it is washed away by the rising waters of summer.
