   Sacheon Sea Cable Car

   As the first cable car in Korea to operate across both the sea and a mountain, it resolves the limitations of conventional cable cars that ran solely over the sea or the mountain, earning high satisfaction from riders. With a total length of 2.43 km, it is the longest in the country (as of June 2019). The ride takes about 25 minutes, and visitors can get off at Gaksan Station to ascend the observatory and take in the magnificent scenery of the Sacheon sea. While traveling on the cable car, the fishing boats dotting the open sea create a view that feels like looking at a watercolor painting, and you might even spot the native finless porpoise ('sang-gwaengi').
