Sangju, known as the bicycle city, opened the nation's first bicycle museum, Sangju Bicycle Museum, at 229-1 Namjang-dong, Sangju-si on October 26, 2002. In line with low-carbon green growth and to contribute to the development and promotion of bicycle culture, it was expanded and relocated to 415 Yongma-ro, Sangju-si on October 27, 2010.
