The Venue of the Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Expo Celebrating the 400th Anniversary of Dongui Bogam

Sancheong is where Heo Jun, revered as the Sage of Medicine, is said to have studied medicine under Ryu Ui-tae. With over a thousand varieties of medicinal herbs naturally growing in Jirisan Mountain, it truly holds a reputation as the cradle of medicinal herbs. Donguibogam Village located here was also the venue for the expo. Visitors can enjoy various Korean medicine experiences, and nearby attractions such as the Heo Jun Pilgrimage Route and a deer farm make it ideal for taking a walk.
