Visiting Gangneung, the Birthplace of Shin Saimdang and Heo Nanseolheon

Ojukheon House in Gangneung is where Yulgok and Shin Saimdang were born, and the area toward Gyeongpoho Lake has produced many literary figures such as Chusa Kim Jeong-hui, Kim Hong-do, and Song Si-yeol, making it a place of unexpectedly deep and broad heritage. In particular, it is also a filming location for 'Saimdang', starring Lee Young-ae, scheduled to air in the second half of this year. At the birthplace site of Heo Nanseolheon, one can almost feel the lingering breath of this ill-fated female poet.
