Walk Along the Muan Nakji Trail, Filled with Treasures Along the Coast

Nakji Trail is a coastal walking route where you can stroll along open beaches to the sound of crashing waves. The 7.1 km course stretches from the Eco Mudflat Center through Muram Village to Holtong Beach. To the northeast, it connects the village with the mudflat wetland protected area of Hamhaeman Bay, and to the southwest, it links the islands and waters of Tandoman Bay. Walking along the winding coastline, visitors can fully enjoy Muan's mudflats, red clay, ecology, and warm local charm.

   Doripo is a small port adjacent to the Chilsan Sea, which borders neighboring Yeonggwang-gun and Hampyeong-gun, and is famous for sea fishing targeting species like sea bream and sea bass. In October 1995, celadon bowls and other relics were discovered here, leading to the excavation of 639 pieces of Goryeo inlaid celadon, which were designated as Jeollanam-do Historic Site No. 395.
