   Dolsan Park

   Dolsan Park is situated facing Dolsandaegyo Bridge and was created in 1987 on an area of approximately 287,600 m². The park once housed the film set for the 2004 SBS morning drama "Choice," drawing many visitors. Part of the set was renovated into a traditional teahouse, providing an exceptional atmosphere to enjoy tea while overlooking Dolsandaegyo Bridge. From the park's scenic viewpoint, the sunset over Dolsandaegyo Bridge, the night view of the bridge itself, and the night vistas of the marine park spanning Jungang-dong and Jonghwa-dong, as well as Janggundo Island, are truly spectacular.    Odongdo Island

   Odongdo is an island so famous for camellia flowers that speaking of Yeosu brings Odongdo to mind, and Odongdo immediately evokes thoughts of camellias. It also serves as both the starting and ending point of Hallyeohaesang National Park. Located about a 10-minute drive from downtown Yeosu, visitors can park at the entrance of Odongdo and walk along the 768-meter-long breakwater path for about 15 minutes to reach the island. Covering an area of 125,620.4 m², the island is densely forested with about 200 species of evergreens, such as camellia trees and sinudae (bamboo), blocking out the sky. Additionally, within the 16,529 m² lawn plaza, there are flowerbeds planted with about 70 species of wild flowers and a commemorative tree-planting hill, making it useful as a natural learning site for children.MoreLess
