   Naganeupseong Walled Town

   As a traditional folk village where many generations actually live, it is recognized for its value as an academic resource on folklore as well as a living history education venue. Stepping into the walled town through the East, West, or South Gate, one might mistakenly feel as though they entered a historical drama film set (filming location for dramas such as Tears of the Dragon and Taejo Wang Geon). It is neither an exhibition village like Yongin or Jeju Folk Village nor a noble yangban village like Andong Hahoe Village, but rather the preserved everyday living space of ordinary commoners, brimming with warmth and the authentic traces of ancestors.    Suncheon Dolmen Park

   순천 고인돌 공원

   Established along the shores of Juamho Lake in Songgwang-myeon, the Dolmen Park relocated and restored prehistoric relics that were in submerged areas due to the construction of Juam Dam (1984–1991). The site features an outdoor exhibition area displaying about 140 dolmens, 6 prehistoric pit dwellings, 1 Paleolithic dwelling, 5 replicas of northern and southern style dolmens, sotdae (sacred poles), and standing stones; an Artifact Exhibition Hall displaying items excavated from dolmens; and a Tomb Exhibition Hall that includes an audiovisual room and traces the evolution of burial systems in the Jeonnam region over time.    Suncheon Municipal Museum of Deep-Rooted Tree

   Located near Naganeupseong Walled Town, the Suncheon Municipal Museum of Deep-Rooted Tree exhibits artifacts collected by the late Han Chang-gi during his lifetime. The museum displays diverse relics spanning from the Bronze Age to post-liberation times, providing great insight into traditional Korean indigenous folk culture. During his lifetime, the late Han Chang-gi sought to create culture from the worn and rustic aspects of Korean heritage.
