   Where the grand stem of the Noryeong Mountain Range surges for the last time upon reaching the southern tip of the Muan Peninsula, Yudalsan Mountain covers an area of 140 ha and stands at 228.3 m. Though not very high, it is the final peak of the Noryeong Mountain Range and the southwestern land's end leading to Dadohae (Archipelago). Since ancient times, Yudalsan Mountain has been called Yeongdalsan, meaning a place where souls pass through.
