   Buseoksa Temple (Yeongju)

   Buseoksa Temple is the head temple of the Hwaeom Sect of Buddhism, founded by royal order in 676 (the 16th year of King Munmu of Silla) by Great Master Uisang, the patriarch of Haedong (Korean) Hwaeom Buddhism. While studying in Tang Dynasty China, the master heard news of Tang Emperor Gaozong's plan to invade Silla.    Yeongju Museom Village

   Located in Sudo-ri, Munsu-myeon, Yeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Museom Village is a quintessential water-encircled village surrounded on three sides by water, similar to Hahoe Village in Andong, Hoeryongpo in Yecheon, and Seonam Village and Cheongnyeongpo in Yeongwol.
