   The rocky island (approx. 116 m above sea level, area of approx. 0.1 ㎢) located about 500 m south offshore from Galgae Village in Galgot-ri, Nambu-myeon, Geoje-si is called Geojedo Haegeumgang. Consisting of two connected islands, Haegeumgang is part of Hallyeohaesang National Park and was designated as Scenic Site No. 2 in 1971.    Hakdong Heukjinju Mongdol Beach

   The beach, measuring 1.2 km in length, 50 m in width, and covering an area of 30,000 ㎡, is filled with pebbles that resemble black pearls. Walking on this pebble field, especially in the summer, provides an acupressure effect beneficial to health. Unlike other beaches in the South Sea, the water at Mongdol Beach is deep and the waves can be rough, requiring some caution; however, water sports such as banana boats are well-equipped. In addition, there is a small village right behind the beach offering guesthouses and raw fish restaurants, but if you are looking for more affordable accommodations, you can find them in a village about 10 minutes away from the beach.    Haegeumgang Theme Museum

   The Haegeumgang Theme Museum has been newly established inside a closed branch school in Dojangpo Village, Nambu-myeon. The first and second floors house around 50,000 exhibits, including movie set replicas that take visitors back to the 1950s through 1970s, reviving childhood memories. On the second floor, European medieval sailing ships—another pride of the museum—capture visitors' attention, and you can also admire Venetian masks from Italy, Murano glass, French porcelain dolls, faience ceramics, wax figures, Cannes Film Festival posters, and masterpieces by world-renowned artists. Nearby attractions include Sinseondae Cliff, where Taoist hermits were said to have descended and marveled at the scenic beauty, the Hill of Wind (Baramui Eondeok), a filming location for the MBC drama 'Merry-Go-Round', and Haegeumgang, Scenic Site No. 2.    Sinseondae Cliff and the Hill of Wind are located near Dojangpo Village. Gaining new spotlight for their beautiful scenery, they are extremely popular among couples.
