   Suseong Resort is located at the foot of a mountain ridge stretching northwest from Yongjibong Peak (629m) in Beommul-dong, creating a beautiful natural landscape along gentle slopes and Suseongmot Lake. Centered around Suseongmot Lake built in 1925, it boasts a water storage capacity of 700,000 tons, covering an area of 218,000㎡ with a lake circumference of 2,020m. Suseongmot Lake was an artificial reservoir originally built during the Japanese colonial period in 1925 to supply agricultural water. Today, it serves as a lakeside leisure space blessed with an abundant water volume throughout the year. Around the lake, Suseong Land offers amusement rides such as benches, trees, walking paths, an excursion boat dock, a spaceship ride, sightseeing boats, a Viking ship, bumper cars, and a carousel, forming a complete resort park.    In Nam-gu, Daegu, stands Apsan Mountain at an elevation of 660m. Apsan Mountain is flanked by Sanseongsan Mountain (653m) and Daedeoksan Mountain (546m). Apsan Park is nestled in the northern valley of these three mountain ridges. Developed as a park since 1970, it was expanded further under a 10-year plan starting in 1981. It is the largest urban natural park in Daegu, spanning 5.08 million pyeong. A cable car runs a total length of 790m near the summit, and at the foot of the mountain are an archery field, horse riding grounds, and a swimming pool, alongside a monument inscribed with a poem by sijo poet Lee Ho-woo and the Nakdong River Battle Memorial Hall built in 1979. Starting around 1979 with Chungbuk Restaurant near Anjirang Market, livelihood-driven eateries began to increase after the 1998 Asian financial crisis, evolving into what it is today.    Daegu Seomun Market

   Seomun Market, once known as Daegu Keun-jang (Great Market), was relocated to its current location in the 1920s by reclaiming the Cheonhwangdanji site and holds a long history. During the Joseon Dynasty, the three major markets were Daegu, Pyeongyang, and Ganggyeong. Because it was situated on the west side of Daegu Castle, it was named Seomun (West Gate) Market. Originally located about 300 meters from the castle wall around the motorcycle alley near Bonjeon Dabang on Sijangbuk-ro today, it was held every month on days ending in 2 and 7. Alley names such as Hongdukkaejeon (fabric fulling alley) and Dakjeon (poultry alley) remain to this day. Textile-related goods make up the main trade, and it is immense in scale, selling virtually everything including silk, textiles, knitwear, handicrafts, men's and women's clothing, tableware, and dried seafood.    Kim Kwang-seok-gil Street

   Kim Kwang-seok-gil Street is a mural street themed around the life and music of the late Kim Kwang-seok, created in the alleys near Bangcheon Market in Daebong-dong where he once lived. Begun in November 2010 as part of the 'Bangcheon Market Munjeonseongsi Project', the street was created with the participation of the Jung-gu District Office and 11 artist teams. Along the 350-meter-long wall, various murals depicting Kim Kwang-seok and his song lyrics are painted, including statues of Kim Kwang-seok, Kim Kwang-seok serving noodles at a street food cart, and Kim Kwang-seok gazing at the sea.
