   The Korea National Arboretum covers an area of 1,157 ha and consists of 15 specialized botanical gardens, including a conifer garden, an ornamental tree garden, and a garden for the visually impaired. It houses a total of 2,983 plant species, including 1,660 woody plant species and 1,323 herbaceous plant species, of which 963 are introduced species. The Forest Museum is the largest in Asia with an area of 1,400 pyeong; it was designed in a traditional Korean style in harmony with nature, and both its interior and exterior are finished with domestic timber and stone.
