Okpo-ro & Duryu Park

When April arrives in Daegu, cherry blossoms burst into full bloom. Cherry blossoms fill both the city center and the mountains, including the Palgongsan Circular Road, Suseong Resort, Apsan Park, Okpo-ro, and Duryugongwon-ro. Among them, Okpo-ro, boasting a distinct display of roadside cherry trees, and Duryu Park's cherry blossom trail, a restful retreat for Daegu citizens and travelers, are considered prime spots. Walking beneath the cherry trees blooming so densely that the sky is hidden, you may encounter a breeze that creates a picturesque shower of falling flower petals. Flanking this cherry blossom tunnel on both sides are pedestrian-only paths through rice paddies and bypass roadside flower paths. The night cherry blossom festival, harmonizing colorful lights with E-World's illuminated 83 Tower, is also a magnificent sight.

   Yongyeonsa Temple (Daegu)

   Famous for its Jeokmyeolbogung (hall enshrining Buddha's sarira), Yongyeonsa Temple is nestled \nat the northern foot of Biseulsan Mountain. Historically, it was founded by Master Boyang in 912 \n(the 1st year of King Sindeok of Silla), burned down during the Imjin War, and was reconstructed \nin 1603 (the 36th year of King Seonjo) by Master Samyeongdaesa.    Inheung Village

   The first building constructed in this clan village was the ritual house Yonghojae, built around 1820, which is where Gwanggeodang currently stands. Large residences were built in the late 1800s, starting as thatched-roof houses and gradually forming the current clan settlement over the following 100 years. Today, about 70 tile-roofed houses stand neatly enclosed within one boundary.    Daegu Duryu Park

   Covering an area of 510,000 pyeong, Duryu Park was developed from a low mountain \nstanding 135 meters above sea level.
