   Changuimun Gate

   Changuimun Gate, the Northwest Minor Gate, was widely known by its nickname, Jahamun. As Sukjeongmun Gate remained closed and could not fulfill its purpose, this gate had to take over its role as well. Perhaps because purple mist (jaha) often drifted around this gate, Seoul locals referred to the Segeomjeong area as 'Jamunbak,' which referred to the area outside Changuimun Gate. This Jahamun Gate is the only one among the four minor gates to retain its original form.
