   Kim Man-deok (1739–1812) was a prominent merchant and female philanthropist from Jeju during the Joseon Dynasty. "Mandeokgwan" was established as a memorial hall to honor Lady Kim Man-deok's good deeds.    Sarabong Park

   Sarabong Park is a 143-meter-high low hill located 2 km east of Dongmun Rotary in Jeju-si. The sunset viewed from here, known as Sabong Nakjo (Sunset from Sarabong), is one of the 12 Scenic Sights of Yeongju and rivals the sunrise of Seongsan. Facing the sea to the north and Hallasan Mountain to the south, it is a popular spot for both Jeju citizens and tourists. To the east of Sarabong sits Byeoldobong Peak.    Sarabong Peak

Climbing to the top opens up views of the vast sea to the north, magnificent Hallasan Mountain to the south, and the picturesque downtown of Jeju-si and surrounding villages below. In particular, the spectacle of the red evening glow coloring the sea (Sabong Nakjo) is breathtaking and recognized as one of the Ten Scenic Sights of Yeongju (瀛州十景).
