   Saejae Pass, crossing the ridge of Joryeongsan Mountain in the Baekdudaegan Mountain Range, was historically the highest and most rugged pass along the Great Yeongnam Road connecting the Hangang and Nakdonggang River basins. The name 'Saejae' originated from meanings such as a pass so steep even birds struggle to fly over it, a pass overgrown with silver grass, or a newly opened pass between Haneuljae and Iurijae Passes. In recent years, the KBS Open Film Set was established here, transforming it into a popular tourist destination.
