   Founded in 1979 in Oksan-ri, Baegam-myeon, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, on a site spanning around 990,000 square meters (including planned expansion areas) by Director Lee Taek-ju, Hantaek Botanical Garden is Korea's largest botanical garden, home to roughly 9,700 species of rare, endangered, native, and exotic plants, including about 2,400 native species (approx. 1,700 herbaceous and 700 woody plants) and 7,300 foreign species. Located on the westward slope of Bibongsan Mountain, the botanical garden provides optimal conditions for various native species to thrive, featuring well-formed wetlands, sunny and shaded areas, and valleys. The East Garden began in 1985 based on the West Garden and underwent extensive development from 1995 to reach its current state, standing shoulder to shoulder with world-renowned botanical gardens.    Eco Adventure, located within the Yongin Natural Recreation Forest, is an adventurous recreational facility that fosters patience and a sense of adventure in the midst of beautiful nature, contributing to physical training, a challenging spirit, and the enhancement of citizens' health and emotional well-being. It operates six times a day at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 5:00 PM, with a capacity of 30 people per session. Eco Adventure is situated at the innermost part of the recreation forest. On the way in, you naturally pass through the wetland garden. The wetland garden area is paved with wooden decks, making it ideal for a light stroll. Although there are a few stairways, most paths are built as ramps, allowing exploration with a stroller.
