   Seoseoul Lake Park opened in October 2009 after the former Sinwol Water Purification Plant in Sinwol-dong, Yangcheon-gu was transformed into an eco-friendly park with the theme of water and regeneration. Originally opened as Gimpo Water Purification Plant in 1959, it was beautifully renovated into a resting area for citizens 50 years later, restoring Neunggolsan Mountain bordering Bucheon-si into a healthy forest and improving hiking trails, reborn as the largest theme park in southwestern Seoul spanning a total area of 217,946㎡.    Onsu Park

   The name originates from the old Onsugol, named so because warm water came out of this area. Gung-dong got its name from the large, palace-like house built here after Princess Jeongseon, the seventh daughter of King Seonjo of Joseon, married Gwon Dae-im (Prince Gilseonggun) who lived in this area. This park is a typical natural park with diverse and well-preserved vegetation and trees, used by about 180,000 citizens annually.
