Here, visitors can see modern architecture preserved in its original form, including the Jung-gu Office (the former Japanese Consulate), the Incheon Branch of the First National Bank of Japan, the Incheon Branch of the 18th National Bank of Japan, and the Incheon Branch of the 58th National Bank of Japan.    Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village

   Songwol-dong was originally called Solgol or Songsan due to its abundance of pine trees, but acquired its current name because of the picturesque moon visible through the pine forest. After the opening of Incheon Port in 1883, foreigners, including Germans, began to settle here, forming a wealthy neighborhood. However, starting several decades ago, younger residents moved away, leaving mostly elderly residents behind, causing the village to lose vitality and fall into decline with abandoned vacant houses. To improve this deteriorating living environment, flower-lined pathways were created and walls were painted with classic world fairy tale themes, transforming it into a vibrant Fairy Tale Village. This alley originated about 40 years ago when a restaurant called 'Inhane Jip' opened. At that time, Inhane Jip welcomed guests in a private home setting.
