Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do Ice and Snow Course

Located in the northeastern mountainous area of Gyeonggi-do, the Gwangju Mountain Range extends from northeast to southwest in the north, while the Bukhangang River flows from east to west in the south. In harmony with the surrounding valleys, it operates a water sledding hill in summer and a snow sledding hill in winter, creating fun childhood memories for children. In particular, a ski academy is operated when visiting in winter.

   Gapyeong Sanjang National Tourist Site was established along the Jojongcheon Stream, which flows between Cheongusan Mountain (619 m) and Gitdaebong Peak (623 m). It is an incomparably beautiful place where dense surrounding forests harmonize with the clear waters of Jojongcheon Stream, a tributary of the Bukhangang River. The site features a camping ground and well-equipped amenities for family vacationers, including an outdoor music hall shaped like a pheasant (the county bird of Gapyeong-gun), walking trails, pavilions, a children's playground, and a multipurpose sports field.
