   Designated as Important Folklore Cultural Heritage No. 236, Oeam Folk Village in Asan, Chungnam, formed approximately 500 years ago. It preserves traditional noble houses built in the unique style of the Chungcheong region, thatched-roof stone walls totaling 5.3 km, and gardens, while housing a large collection of folk tools and relics. House names are derived from the official titles or hometowns of their owners, such as Champandaek, Byeongsadaek, Gamchaldaek, Chambongdaek, Jongsongdaek, Songhwadaek, Yeongamdaek, and Sinchangdaek.
