Spanning three floors (two above ground and one basement), it consists of a Brassware Exhibition Hall, Video Hall, Special Exhibition Hall, Agricultural History Hall, Local History Archives, Seminar Room, Curatorial Research Office, and Storage. The Brassware Exhibition Hall showcases the history of brassware, classifications by manufacturing technique, models of the crafting process, and various daily brass items such as ritual vessels, tableware sets, shamanic tools, and Buddhist implements, complemented by video screens throughout to aid visitors' understanding.    Mirinae Holy Site

   미리내 성지

   Located about 40 ri north of Anseong, Gyeonggi-do, Mirinae bears a beautiful pure Korean name meaning 'Milky Way.' It is home to the graves of Father Kim Dae-geon, Korea's first Catholic priest, his mother Ursula, Bishop Ferréol (the third Vicar Apostolic of Joseon who ordained Father Kim), and Vincent Lee Min-sik, who laid Father Kim's body to rest here. Entering the shrine brings a feeling of deep peace and serenity. Even non-believers can feel a sense of spiritual cleansing as they walk around the grounds. The place came to be called Mirinae because Catholic believers fled here to escape the Sinyu Persecution (1801) and Gihae Persecution (1839) and formed a secret Catholic village; the lights emerging from the houses at night reflected on the moonlit stream, making it look like the Milky Way.    The Anseong Municipal Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmuldan troupe was formed in Anseong—the birthplace of Korea's Namsadang troupe—to carry on the artistic spirit of 'Baudeogi,' recognized as the greatest artist and the first entertainer of the Joseon Dynasty, and to preserve and globalize the folk culture of Namsadang Nori.
