   The Animation Museum opened on October 1, 2003, as Korea's first specialized museum dedicated to animation. It features a variety of exhibition halls covering the origins, principles, and types of animation, its history and evolution, as well as global and Korean animation. Moving beyond the traditional concept of a museum, it is a complex experiential facility featuring interactive areas. Facilities include a horror studio, pin-screen experience, 3D cinema, and puppet animation corner.    Gangwon Provincial Arboretum

   Gangwon Provincial Arboretum is located across 14 parcels of land centered at 218-5 Sanong-dong, Chuncheon-si, approximately 5 km from downtown Chuncheon. Surrounding attractions such as Wido Amusement Park, Youth Training Center, Yukrim Land, and the Chuncheon Puppet Theater make it a central tourist hub. Established to discover and exhibit native flowering trees of Gangwon-do, preserve and propagate species, and expand experimental research infrastructure, the native flower tree exhibition hall and arboretum opened to the public on May 20, 1999, at an experimental plot in Sanong-dong.
