   Established in March 1924, Chuksanhang Port is a representative fishing port in Yeongdeok and one of only five ports nationwide where snow crab auctions are held. In addition, the mountain ridges extending from Taebaeksan Mountain sweep down to the coast, creating a beautiful coastline shaped like a bay. The port oversees boat arrivals, collection, and fish auctions from various nearby ports, and boasts the best habitat for Yeongdeok snow crabs along with the Origin Village of Snow Crab.    Chayu Dombawi Rock

   There are many famous fishing spots in Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Among them, the coastal rocks stretching from Nomul to Gyeongjeong are well known as a prime fishing area and are famous enough to be called a representative black porgy fishing spot on the East Coast. However, the coastal rocks around Chayu Village in Gyeongjeong-ri are mostly lesser-known fishing points, preserving their pristine natural state. Walking north from Chayu Village brings you to the first coastal rock, which is Chayu Dombawi Rock. Rivaling the famous Dombawi Rock on Yeoseodo Island and Dombawi Rock on Gukdo Island in Tongyeong, Chayu Dombawi Rock often surprises anglers with large black porgies measuring over 50 cm.    Yeongdeok Sunrise Park

   The East Coast area of Changpo-ri, once surrounded by pristine waters and dense black pine forests, was left in ruins following a major forest fire in February 1997. After four years of revitalization efforts, a landscaped park was created utilizing the scenic coastal views and an unmanned lighthouse. Walking trails were formed with sleeper steps made from fire-damaged trees. Observation decks for photography and panoramic views, as well as pergolas for resting, were installed. Eighteen fish sculptures are set to blend with music broadcast in real time, and a nature learning area was created with native wild flowers and trees, featuring 300,000 wild flowers across 15 species (such as daffodils, seaside chrysanthemums, and Korean starworts) and 70,000 native trees across 8 species (including sweetbrier roses, camellias, and flamegold trees).
