You reach the village by following a winding road off the main street, and it's quite secluded and peaceful. Yet it doesn't stay just a typical mountain village -- it offers accommodations reminiscent of a recreational forest, such as a forest recreation hall and forest cabins, and unusually for a mountain village, it also has a water play area, drawing many summer vacationers.    Cheonjangho Lake (Suspension Bridge)

   The Cheonjangho suspension bridge is a landmark of Cheongyang. It's a spot visited by Lee Seung-gi, Kim Jong-min, Eom Tae-woong, and Eun Ji-won after the KBS "2 Days & 1 Night" team set up camp at Sanchon Ecological Village in Namcheon-ri. Built in 2009, it measures 207m in total length, making it the longest suspension footbridge in Korea.    Chilgapsan Observatory Star Park

   Cheongyang Chilgapsan Sankkot Village

   Sankkot ("Mountain Flower") Village becomes a floral palace come April. The moment you leave National Route 36 and turn onto Local Road 645, the atmosphere already feels extraordinary. Cherry blossoms drift across the road, creating a scene of sheer enchantment -- truly a fantastical flower path and an entrancing harmony. Just when you think it will end, the cherry blossom tunnel keeps going for a good while longer. It's scenery worthy of a spot on the "100 Most Beautiful Roads in Korea" list. At its heart lies Chilgapsan Sankkot Village. Around the village's three-way intersection, forsythia, daffodils, adonis, resurrection lilies, cosmos, and other flowers that rival the cherry blossoms in beauty bloom and fall in abundance as the seasons change.
