Cheongpung Lake is an artificial lake created by the Chungju Dam. Located in the upper reaches of the Namhan River, it guards against floods and droughts, generates hydroelectric power using the water's drop, and serves as a reservoir supplying drinking water to the 20 million residents of Seoul and Gyeonggi Province as a source of the Han River. It is also the only lake formed by a dam on the Namhan River. Along the shores of Cheongpung Lake, visitors can enjoy a variety of Tourism Dure programs, including water sports, camping, and hands-on experiences.

   Jecheon Water Sports is a resident-run business formed by water sports clubs in Jecheon. If you visit Cheongpung Lake between May and October, be sure to stop by. Break the stillness of the lake with a variety of water activities, including water skiing, motorboating, banana boat rides, wakeboarding, flyfish, and big marble rides.    Kkotdanji Village

   Located in Hansu-myeon, the southernmost part of Jecheon, Kkotdanji Village operates a monorail. Riding the monorail, which takes about an hour round trip, you can view a wildflower complex and an animal farm along the way.
