   Along Doyechon-gil (Sangsin-ri), Banpo-myeon, Gongju, Chungcheongnam-do, potters carrying on the tradition of Joseon-era iron-painted buncheong ware have gathered to form a pottery village. Iron-painted buncheong ware is a type of ceramic produced between 1480 and 1540, in the period between celadon and white porcelain. True to the village's name, potters here have built earthen-walled houses steeped in traditional atmosphere, each devoted to carrying on the tradition of Korean ceramics.
