   Dumulmeori [Yangsu-ri] means the place where the two waters meet: the Bukhangang River flowing from Geumgangsan Mountain and the Namhangang River originating from Geomnyongso Spring at the foot of Geumdaebong Peak in Gangwon-do. In Chinese characters, it is written as '兩水里' (Yangsu-ri), referring specifically to the area centered around the ferry dock within Yangsu-ri.    Semiwon is a natural water purification park located in Yongdam-ri, Yangseo-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. The name 'Semiwon' comes from the ancient saying, 'Wash your mind when looking at water, and make your mind beautiful when looking at flowers' (觀水洗心 觀花美心). True to this saying, Semiwon paved all its pathways with washboards as a symbolic gesture of washing one's mind clean while gazing at the flowing Hangang River, and it also exhibits poems and paintings in which ancestors expressed their feelings upon admiring lotuses, wishing for it to be a place where visitors can beautify their minds by observing water lilies and lotuses.
