   Yongmunsa Temple

   Located halfway up Yongmunsan Mountain about 9 km northeast of Yongmun Station on the Jungang Line, Yongmunsa Temple was built by Master Daegyeong in the 2nd year of King Sindeok of Silla (913). It was rebuilt during the reign of King Sejong the Great to enshrine two Buddha statues and eight Bodhisattva statues.
