Valley Trekking Along the 12 Waterfalls

Naeyeonsan County Park is home to 12 waterfalls, earning it the nickname "12 Waterfalls Valley," and is well known as the filming location for the movie "Into the Sun" ("Gaeul-lo"). Beginning at the dense pine forest by the entrance to Bogyeongsa Temple, the valley trek runs 5km through Ssangsaeng Falls, Bohyeon Falls, Gwaneum Falls, and Yeonsan Falls. With almost no strenuous climbs and beautiful scenery in every season, it's one of Pohang's signature destinations.

   Pohang Naengsu-ri Silla Stele and Yeongil Naengsu-ri Tombs

   The Yeongil Naengsu-ri Silla Stele was discovered on April 6, 1989, when Mr. Lee Sang-un, plowing a field he owned in Naengsu-ri, Singwang-myeon, Buk-gu, Pohang, dug up a stone that had long been an obstacle in the field. He took it home intending to use it as a washing stone, but upon washing it off he noticed carved characters, so he reported it to the authorities.    Gyeongsangbuk-do Arboretum
