   Boseong Green Tea Field Daehan Dawon

   Daehan Dawon is a tea garden in Boseong, Jeollanam-do, opened to the public as a tourist farm by Daehan Dawon Co., Ltd. Established in 1957, it is a historic tea tourist farm with nearly half a century of history. It receives over one million visitors annually and is famous as a filming location for numerous commercials and films — the tea field you climb up along a path through a dense cedar forest, the setting for the film \"The Gift,\" spans a vast 991,740m²(about 300,000 pyeong) and presents a spectacular sight.    Botjae, located on Nokcha-ro in Boseong-eup, is the name of the pass connecting Boseong-eup and Hoecheon-myeon, its name carrying the meaning of setting down a heavy pack for a brief rest. It is a complex tourist facility showcasing Boseong's history, culture, and art, as well as its tea industry and tea culture, and opened in November 2015. Serving as a landmark introducing Boseong to visitors, the facility consists of three floors. The 1st floor is the Boseong History & Culture Hall, offering a comprehensive view of Boseong's history and culture, from the Three Kingdoms period up to the present day. The 2nd floor is divided into three spaces: Green Dahyang Café, where you can drink tea produced in Boseong; Green Market, where you can purchase high-quality local specialties from Boseong; and Botjae Hall, where you can take part in various hands-on and educational programs. Green Dahyang Café in particular also hosts curated exhibitions alongside its premium tea offerings, making it a great place to rest for a while and take in some art.
