   Palbongsan

   팔봉산

   Palbongsan (302m) is often said to surprise visitors twice. First, despite being a low mountain, its beautiful ridgeline surprises you; and once you actually climb it, the string of rocky ridges makes the hike surprisingly tough, surprising you a second time. Its main ridge, spreading out like an unfolded folding screen, has long been called "Sogeumgang" (Little Geumgangsan) for its beauty. On top of that, the Hongcheongang River flows along both sides of the main ridge, so the view from the summit is exceptional, and you can go for a swim after the hike as well.
