Natural Dyeing Under a Blue Sky

Naju was a center of ancient culture centered on the Yeongsan River, and a region where textile culture flourished. Thanks to the continued transmission and development of natural dyeing traditions, visitors can try a variety of natural dyeing experiences at the Natural Dyeing Culture Center. Walk along the Yeongsan River and be sure not to miss the Bannam Ancient Tombs and Bogam-ri Ancient Tombs, traces of an ancient city.

   Yeongsanpo Lighthouse

   영산포등대

   A lighthouse built at Yeongsanpo pier, the uppermost navigable point of the Yeongsan River during the Japanese colonial period. Installed in 1915, it served both to measure water levels and as a lighthouse.
